Established by Saint Mastana Ji Maharaj on April 29th 1948, this school of practical spiritual training for God realization was first erected. Since establishment, the message of salvation through meditation of the Naama (the God’s words) was preached by Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj and His successor Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj in the same Dera. Here thousands and thousands of disciples were led to the path of sanity. Once Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj had uttered, “Dera Sacha Sauda shall grow multifold with passage of time.” And this proved to be true when Shah Mastana Ji Dhaam turned out to be incapable of entertaining the ever increasing followers. Therefore, in 1992 Shah Satnam Ji Dham was raised, 5 km ahead of the previous Dera, at a place where there used to be around 20 feet high sand dunes and happened to be a habitat for deadly snakes and scorpions. Local people were so terrified of this deadly place that they panicked from the mere thought of crossing through in dusk, what to speak of dwelling! But as prophesized by Mastana Ji maharaj Himself many years ago that He foresees the place so flooded with the disciples and uttered, “Even if a platter is thrown over, doesn’t reach the ground!” And this had to be realized by the reverend Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.

The agricultural experts declared it to be a barren desert where nothing at all could be raised and today we stand amidst of lush green fields where the yield is multifold. Thereupon, the fruits grown in cold climatic conditions are also raised here, for instance, strawberry, apple and so forth. They aptly say, “Spirituality incepts where Science ends.”
